RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Today, the Reno Air Racing Association will be asking the Reno City Council to pick up the tab for city services for this year's event.
The association is asking for a sponsorship agreement with the city to cover necessary services, including staff time and equipment for the event. The agreement would not exceed $50,000.
The air races are scheduled to start Sept. 12.
