RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The race is on to tie up any loose ends that would prevent the National Championship Air Races from moving forward.

President and CEO of Reno Air Racing Association Mike Houghton went before the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board this morning to discuss conditions in an operating permit license with the airport.

Houghton says there are still a few words that need to be changed in the permit before everyone comes to an agreement. He says, though, the community should rest assured, insurance money is now in place and the
races will good as planned.
