Merchandising Manager - Reno Aces (Reno, NV)
SK Baseball has been nationally regarded as one of the premier sports ownership firms in the country. Currently, SK Baseball owns and operates the Reno Aces, Triple-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, in the Pacific Coast League. The club plays in Aces Ballpark, a state-of-the-art $50 million downtown venue that has been lauded for its classic style and modern amenities.
Merchandising Manager
The Merchandising Manager will be responsible for the operation of the Reno Aces Team Store. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for the day to day operations of the Reno Aces stadium team store as well as any other off site retail locations
• Responsible for keeping up with and maintaining inventory during the season and off season
• Responsible for the selection, ordering and pricing of all merchandise
• Must be knowledgeable of retail trends and sport and entertainment merchandise
• Must be able to multitask, plan ahead and work with vendors across the country
• Manage a part time seasonal staff of 4 – 8 people
• Experience in retail/retail management, able to set floor and displays, knowledgeable of Retail Pro POS systems
• Capable of working with an annual set budget
• Responsible for running and maintaining online team store
• Market store and merchandise
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining sales with 3rd party vendors
Qualifications:
• 2-6 years in a retail sales capacity with sports or entertainment property, preferably with a baseball property
• Intimate knowledge of Minor League Baseball operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BA required
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required and travel as needed
• Knowledge of Triple-A All-Star Game format and previous experience preferred
