Position: Industrial Market Sales Engineer
Type of Position: Full Time
Brief Job Overview:
Work directly with customers to define and develop technically engineered safety products and solutions
Review requests for proposal
Drive the sales process through strategy, proposal, presentation and successful close of the sale
Work with the Project Engineers to ensure product meets customer’s specifications.
Qualifications: Strong technical sales background and experience working with engineering firms and end users; strong selling skills including prospecting, sales planning, market research and closing skills; excellent communication and presentation skills.
Education and or experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; minimum 5 years sales engineering experience in industrial markets; prior experience working with industry standards including ANSI , CSA and UL. Familiarity with NFPA and NEC codes for equipment designed for hazardous environments.
