This weekend is your last chance to see the Sparks In Space Exhibit at the Sparks Heritage Museum. Few people know that the rockets which got the first man on and off the moon were tested and developed in Spanish Springs. The interactive Space Exhibit, which incorporates iPad technology, was assembled by the Sparks High School students at the Challenger Learning Center of Northern Nevada. The role of Northern Nevadans in space exploration has been significant and this exhibit was especially designed to appeal to children as well as adults.
Bring the family to Sparks this weekend to see the Sparks in Space exhibit, explore the Museum and tour the outdoor Train display.
