What else can you do?

1. Spread the word

Talk with others about what local means, and why it matters. Found a great local business? Tell your friends and neighbors, post it on Facebook and Twitter, write a review on Yelp.

2. Talk with local businesses

A strong local economy is about relationships. Start a conversation with local businesses about what you like, what you don’t, and what would make you spend more of your money with them.

3. Educate yourself about what’s local

Not sure if a business is local? Ask! Look for the “We’re Local” decal in storefronts.
