Australian entertainer Rolf Harris has been found guilty of indecently assaulting girls as young as seven-years-old, during a campaign of abuse dating back to the 1960s.

The 84-year-old singer/artist, best for known his children's entertainment programs, was accused of molesting four young girls between 1968 and 1986, when they were aged between seven and 19.

He was found guilty of all 12 indecent assault charges on Monday following a trial at Southwark Crown Court in London.

During the trial, Harris was accused of using his celebrity status to abuse women and young girls, and he admitted in court that he had sexual relations with a friend of his daughter. The youngster claimed she was just 13 when the abuse began.

Harris faces a possible prison sentence when his punishment is handed out at a hearing on Friday. He remains free on unconditional bail until sentencing.
