Harrison Ford put his health problems behind him by launching himself down a 2,500-foot slide on Tuesday.

The "Indiana Jones" star was hospitalized in June after his left leg was crushed on the set of "Star Wars: Episode VII." The actor has spent weeks recovering from the injury and finally looked ready to head back to work as he walked the red carpet unaided at "The Expendables 3" premiere earlier this months.

The 72-year-old appeared to prove his fitness this week by tackling the thrilling slide ride, where fun-lovers can reach speeds of 30 miles per hour, just days before he is due to return to filming the sci-fi installment in London.

Pictures obtained by TMZ.com show the actor taking the plunge on the Alpine Slide in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, during a day out with his family.
