Tactical Trained REMSA Paramedics Credited With Saving Gun Shot Victims
The Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority or REMSA has a group of paramedics, trained in SWAT tactics to go in with police during a high risk response. Similar to medics in the military, they provide fast response to officers, victims and even suspects when things go wrong. For the past fifteen years, the eight man team has been training and responding for an event like Monday’s shooting at Sparks Middle School.
