Reno, Nev. (KRNV and MyNews4.com)—Police say a man attempted to rob the 99 Cent Plus Store at 45 W. Second St. on Jan. 1, 2012 around 11:52 a.m.
The suspect spent 30 minutes inside the store before finally taking his items to the clerk. According to officers when the clerk began ringing up the items, the suspect displayed a black semi-automatic handgun. Another person walked into the store and the suspect fled westbound on W. Second St. from the store. The suspect did not steal any merchandise.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s, 5’8”, brown hair and 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a black trench coat, black sunglasses, tan pants and black shoes.
