Gene Bails wrote in asking how a senior judge for the
U-S DIstrict Court out of Oregon ruled on "None of the Above" in Nevada?

Gene, "None of the Above" is a hot topic right now.  It was struck down by a federal judge but that ruling has been blocked by the court of appeals.

As for the judge who made that original ruling, it was Judge Robert C. Jones here in Nevada.
According to Catherine Lu with the Secretary of State's office, Oregon has a federal judge by the name of  Robert "E."  Jones and some people who are familiar with him might have assumed that he was the one who made the ruling but it was definitely a Nevada Judge, again,  Robert "C." Jones, who ruled that none of the above should not appear on the ballot because its not a choice that can be elected.   That ruling that has since been blocked by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, meaning the option will appear on the November ballot.
