Kate Marsh, a concerned Reno resident, wrote in asking what happened to the hot prowl burglar, anthony halnan, and is he going to prison ?
I talked with Elliot Sattler, he's the D.A. handling this case.
Anthony Halnan is facing four felony counts: two burlgary charges, possession of a stolen vehicle and identity theft.
One of the burglaries occurred at the Pub n' Sub sandwich shop, the other at a home on Lodge Avenue.
If he is convicted, the two burglary charges would bring mandatory prison time because he's already been convicted of burgary in the past. So it would be 1-10 years on each burglary charge.
These cases take time to wind their way through the court system. Halnan's next court appearance is scheduled for November 7th, In Reno Justice Dourt.
