Stacy Thompson says the pool near Traner Middle School is full of dark green water and she's concerned about mosquitos breeding there.
She wants to know if anything is being done about it.
I checked with Michele Anderson over at Reno City Hall. She says that is the Traner Public Pool and it closed for the season about a month ago.
Our crew paid a visit to check it out and the water is definitely dark green in color.
Anderson says they have winterized the pool and they do keep water in it and they keep it heated so that it doesn't freeze up over the winter, just as they've done every winter for the past 25 years.
She says they haven't received any complaints. And the city hasn't had any reports of mosquitos being a problem there.
