I believe when Mark Jackson was in private practice he had cases come before Judge Gibbons. They do have a history. He should excuse his office from this case. The whole case should be handled outside of Douglas County. If kept in Douglas County no matter what the outcome it won't look right.

Sure, no conflict. Just don't expect your office to win any cases in front of Gibbons if you prosecute him and he winds up remaining on the Bench.
