A concerned fan wrote in to say after the JV football game last week between Reed High and Spanish Springs the Spanish Springs football field was vandalized.
Our viewer wants to know if it was students from Reed that committed the vandalism and have they been caught ?
I called Mary Vesco the principal over at Reed and she says yes, there was vandalism at Spanish Springs after a recent football game but they haven't figure out who did it.
Vesco says as soon as she heard about it she put out a $200 reward with the School Secret witness hotline to get tips. So far they haven't received any. Vesco says she did send a cleaning crew from reed over to help clean it up. She says there were some things painted on the press box and other parts of the field.
Spanish Springs athletic officials say there was about a thousand dollars in damage. So the case is open. They have not solved it yet.
If you do know who it was who vandalized the Spanish Springs field you can call the school Secret Witness number which is 329-6666. Once again there is a 200 dollar reward and Reed's principal Mary Vesco says she will happily pay it in exchange for information about the culprits.
