Jamie Sanetel wrote in saying her daughter attends Lemmon Valley Elementary School.  She says the sixth grade girls were told they can't use the bathroom because it was vandalized recently.  Jamie says she's concerned this is a health issue and asked if we could look into it.

I talked to Cara White, the principal at Lemmon Valley Elementary School.
She says there is no truth to this whatsoever.  White says the bathroom was vandalized last year but it has not been closed this year and she says they would never prohibit students from using the restroom.
Occasionally they do find grafitti or messages written on the walls that the janitor has to clean-up.  But again she says the bathroom is not closed and white says if they did have to close it there are other restrooms the students would be allowed to use.
