From the Ask Joe file, one of our viewers has a question concerning an eyesore in Carson City.
Paul asked if there is any update on the story about the former governor's house in the middle of Carson City's historic district that is now an eyesore?

The home that News 4 featured in a report last year is on West Robinson Street. It once belonged to Governor John Jones, and over the years has become a real eyesore. When we visited, there was a car in the backyard, unfinished construction and neighbors said mice and rats were living inside.
The good news is the Carson City Planning Department has told Joe that the home has been purchased. The deal closed last week.
Carson City's Planning Manager Susan Dorr-Pansky said the clean-up will begin shortly, followed by rehabilitation of the old structure.
Hopefully, News 4 can follow up and talk to the new owner to find out a little more about his plans. But it sounds like some very positive changes could be coming soon and all of the neighbors in the area will be happy to hear it.
