Question:

From the Ask Joe file, one of our viewers has a question about someone she has noticed helping out on a regular basis, by cleaning up along Pyramid Highway.

Jeanine Hearn wrote in to ask about the guy that is beautifying the Pyramid Highway every morning? She said he is an inspiration and deserves some recognition.

Answer:

Joe did a little research and found a story News 4 ran a couple years ago about this man. His name is Bruce Osgood, also known as "Mr. Pyramid". He walks between four and six miles every day that he is picking up litter along Pyramid Highway.

He said he does it simply to help out and get a little exercise. His goal is to make Pyramid Highway the cleanest road in Nevada. He picks up cups, cans and any other trash that ends up on the side of the road, or in the median.

Give Bruce a honk the next time you see him to show him your appreciation. That stretch of Pyramid Highway looks a lot better thanks to Bruce, and hopefully he knows his efforts are appreciated.
