News 4 viewer Katy Money lives on Quartz Lane in Sun Valley and she wants to know why the road hasn't been paved. She says there are deep ruts in the road and that it is in need of work. She wants to know who's responsible for getting it done.
I checked with Terry Davis in the Washoe County roads department. Davis says most the roads the county oversees are paved but Quartz lane is privately owned. As a result Davis say it is up to the property owners there to come up with plans and financing to get the road paved and tackle any other repairs that need to be done. That's probably not the answer Katy Money wanted to hear but those are the facts according to the county road department.
