Nevada School Districts fail to file required report on Intimidation and Harassment in Schools

With the problem of bullying being addressed locally and nationwide, it recently came as a surprise to News Four that roughly half of the school districts in Nevada had not submitted a required annual report on student intimidation and harassment for the 2009-2010 school year. News Four's Shelby Sheehan went to the state superintendent's office and called the school districts to find out why.

As a parent of 2 daughters who have been harassed and bullied with no real repercussions from the School or the District; This article is not shocking at all. Douglas county and our School Principal prefer the Ostrich method of burying their heads in the sand and saying everything is Ok.

Because if they did, it would show the problem and lack or solving it they're doing. Why put it on paper where you can be held accountable for it?
