MyNews4.com -- A new bill takes effect today aimed at stopping bullies in Nevada schools. SB-163 adds bullying and cyber-bullying as prohibited activities in schools, and requires administrators to include them in developing policies and training programs to ensure safe learning environments.
Since bullying with computers, cell phones, and websites is on the rise, the law focuses on cyber-bullying. Under the law cyber-bullying incidents and punishments will need to be reported to the state superintendent's office.
