A sixth grade student at Anderson Elementary is setting a great example on how to be a team player and this month he is News Four's Class Act Award Winner.
Evening anchor Shelby Sheehan surprised Eric Reyes during a school assembly with the award on Wednesday.
His principal and teachers at the school say he is always trying to help other students and does it with a smile.
Just last week he spent time comforting a kindergarten student who was adjusting to being new at school, speaking to him in spanish to make him feel more at home.
Eric comes from a large family that recently suffered a terrible loss but through it all, he's been a big support to his sibilings as well as other students at Anderson Elementary.
Congratulations to Eric Reyes, News Four's Class Act Award Winner!
