An elementary school student is putting her entrepreneurial skills to good use and this month she is News Four's Class Act Award winner!
We recently surprised Jaidyn Macdonald during her class at Double Diamond Elementary School.
Jaidyn has been selling lemonade and baked goods not to fill up her piggy bank but to raise money for the Reno Cancer Foundation.
Her first sale was at her parents' garage sale and she's done a few since then earning 90 dollars that she has donated to the foundation.
At 25 cents per lemonade, that is a lot of cups!
She says cancer has touched her family and she wants to help in any way she can.
She recently lost her grandfather to cancer and says she doesn't want to see anyone else go through what he did.
