Most kids at Christmas are thinking about what presents they'll find under the tree, but for one 10 year old in Sparks, he was too busy worrying about other children and this month he is News 4’s Class Act award winner!

Recently, Shelby Sheehan surprised Sepulvada Elementary student Ivan Sanchez with our award.   Just before Christmas break, Ivan noticed some students didn't have backpacks or many school supplies.   With his big heart and desire to make a difference, he organized a supply drive through his school that lasted a few months and collected supplies that were donated to children at CAAW committee to aid abused woman and children.

Ivan said "I just thought we should make a change in America.  If you make a difference, everything will come back to you.”
