CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - A new sign Nevada's legislature may be becoming more transparent. The group Sunlight Foundation is giving lawmakers here a "B" grade for transparency about how they handle everything from tax dollars to issues involving your safety.

Nevada mostly scores high because of a website which lets the public search bills and meeting agendas going back several years. But the new study still doesn't account for where we usually mark low - that includes things like the fact our legislator is not required to follow the open meeting laws they helped create and several other issues.
