Congressman Amodei is either untruthful or ignorant when he says the furlowed folks are "exempt from Obamacare". This myth was well-covered by the Reno Gazette Journal in their Sunday fact check column

I'm with vietnamvet25. I helped start what he had to help finish. I'm sure that the Affordable Health Care Act has many bad features of which we have not been apprised. They will come to light. When they do,we will need people in office to fix the problems. Hopefully, these won't be the people who formulated, and passed, the Affordable Health Care Act. Again, hopefully, they won't be the dedicated left and right factions that are a bigger problem than the Affordable Health Care Act.

The issue is not the heathcare law, it's paying for it! Our country is beyond broke and Obama wants to keep printing money (raise the debt ceiling) with no control on spending.... he's like a teenager with his first credit card and thinks there is no credit limit!! After talking with a 90 yr old man who experienced the Great Depression in WWII, FDR caused the entire collapse of the country with his out of control spending. The House is trying to avoid this same collapse which can easily occur within 5 years if the spending is not controlled in a responsible way. It's not a healthcare issue, it's trying to pay for it!!

The healthcare act is law, reviewed by the supreme court and given its approval Yet the right just won't accept it. They have not given anything to replace. So lets give it a chance and let it work. If it needs adjusting then we can do that But a stone wall is not the answer

Congressman Amodei should talk to Mr. D-i-c-k Morris about how to work this out. He's VERY good with this sort of thing and would be of great assistance in negotiating a good solution.
