Reader Leaders December 2012
Once again the Nevada Mining Association, The University of Nevada and News Four are pleased to recognize some bright young minds in our area. This months’ Reader Leaders winners are the 4th graders at Sierra Vista Elementary. The students all received Reader Leaders t-shirts which will get them into all kinds of wolf pack sporting events for free. Something pretty cool happened this time: the Rotary Foundation discreetly found out what book each student wanted to read and got them the book of their choice. One of the teachers Ms. Kara Murphy talked about how important it is to read.
