WASHINGTON D.C. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Senator Harry Reid is speaking out after being accused of bribery.
Utah business owner Jeremy Johnson is accused of charging hundreds of thousands of consumers for products they never received from his online marketing company called I-Works.
Johnson is claiming he hired now Utah Attorney General John Swallow to help him broker a deal with Senator Harry Reid who could make the investigation go away.
Senator Reid says the accusations are not true.
Attorney General John Swallow claims it's all just a desperate attempt by Johnson to get out of going to jail, but Utah Democrats have sent a formal letter to Attorney General Eric Holder to have this case investigated.
