Reno Rodeo Denim Drive provides clothes to foster families

Reno, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)— Foster families of Northern Nevada are invited to shop for new clothes and school uniforms today, Jan. 21, 2012 from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Kids Kampus Activity Center.

The Kids Kampus Activity Center is located at 2075 Longley Lane, behind the Children’s Cabinet.

The Reno Foundation will be distributing school uniforms, denim clothing, socks and underwear collected during the Denim Drive. Each child in protective custody or foster care will receive two pairs of jeans, three packages of underwear and three packages of socks.
 
The Denim Drive expanded their program this year to include 13 Northern Nevada counties that currently service over 1,800 children in protective custody and foster care.
