Reno, NV (MyNews4.com) -- Volunteers with the Reno Rodeo Association took over the Livestock Events Center Saturday morning from 8 am to Noon to prepare the grounds for the Reno Rodeo. Hundreds of volunteers cleaned, prepped, swept, painted and prepared the rodeo arena for, "The Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West" June 14-23.
Reno Rodeo takes over the Livestock Events center for two weeks to produce the Reno Rodeo. It is necessary to clean and prepare the grounds for the over 150,000 fans to attend 10 days Reno Rodeo activities.
