TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Matt Scott waited more than two years for his second chance.

He made the most of it once it finally came.

Finally given an opportunity with Nick Foles off to the NFL, Scott developed into one of the nation's best quarterbacks and may have earned himself a shot at the NFL.

The fifth-year senior had 3,723 total yards his final season in the desert, second all-time in Arizona history and seventh nationally this season. He threw for 3,238 yards with 24 touchdowns, both third on the Wildcats all-time list.

Scott will play his final game on Saturday, when Arizona meets Nevada in the New Mexico Bowl.
