RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Reno Bighorns’ forward Marcus Landry is out for the remainder of the season, due to an injury, the team announced today. He has been placed on the inactive list.
The team says Landry suffered a tear of the MCL in his left knee in the Bighorns’ loss last Saturday in Texas.
Landry, who was named to the 2013 NBA D-League All-Star team and also won the Boost Mobile 3-Point Shooting Contest at the All-Star game, was averaging 16.5 points and five rebound per game in 35 games with Reno. He was ranked fifth in the D-League in three-point field goal percentage, making 42.8% of his shots from beyond the arc.
The Bighorns will retain Landry’s rights.
