Just days after hiring former Nevada Defensive Coordinator Andy Buh for the same position in Berkeley, the California football program has hired another Wolf Pack assistant coach. News 4 has confirmed that Cal has hired Nevada defensive line coach Barry Sacks. Sacks was in Berkeley on Thursday for meetings and a final decision was made late in the afternoon. Sacks was a longtime assistant at Nevada, spending the last 11 years with the Wolf Pack. The coaching veteran is known as a fiery and popular piece of the Wolf Pack football program. He was also considered one of Nevada's top recruiters.
