LOS ANGELES, Calif. ( & KRNV) -- Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw threw a no-hitter against the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.

Kershaw struck out a career-high 15 batters in beating the Rockies 8-0. He was perfect through six innings, but a baserunner reached in the top of the seventh inning, on a throwing error by Hanley Ramirez.

This was the southpaw's first career no-hitter, and the 22nd in Dodgers history.
