RENO, Nev. (AP) — The Utah Jazz have recalled guard Kevin Murphy from the Reno Bighorns.

The 6-foot-5 rookie from Tennessee Tech is expected to be in uniform for Wednesday night's game at the Charlotte Bobcats.

Utah's second-round pick in the 2012 draft was assigned to Reno on Nov. 26. In 14 games in the NBA D-League, he averaged 13.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.

In three previous appearances with Utah this season, Murphy scored four points in nine minutes play. He had 13 points and eight rebounds in Reno's 97-91 victory over Springfield in overtime on Monday.

The Bighorns, who also are affiliated with the Kings and the Grizzlies, are hosting the D-League's showcase this week featuring all the teams in competition through Jan. 10 at the Reno Events Center.
