RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Nevada Athletic Commission heard testimony today from athletes who say marijuana should be removed from the state's list of performance-enhancing drugs.

UFC Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Marc Ratner testified pot should not be regulated the same way as performance-enhancing drugs.

The meeting comes as the World Anti-Doping Agency considers removing marijuana from their banned substances list.

Nevada state commissioners say the issue will be further debated at their next meeting.
