Reno, NV (MyNews4.com) -- According to Rivals.com, Nevada football 2014 recruiting class ranks 4th in the Mountain West Conference, behind San Diego State, Colorado State and Air Force.  However, the Wolf Pack coaching staff continues to add top talent.

News 4’s Bryan Samudio has confirmed that Kendall Johnson out of St. Thomas More in Lafayette, LA has given the Pack a solid verbal commitment.  Johnson plays both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback.  He's listed at 6'1", 175 lbs.

Last season as a senior, Johnson had 35 catches for 833 yards and led his team with 11 receiving touchdowns.  He averaged 23.8 yards per reception.  He runs a 4.46 40-yard dash with a 33" vertical, according to hudl.com.

Johnson had offers from Northwestern State, Louisiana Monroe, Tulane and Tulsa with interest from Vanderbilt, Minnesota and Wake Forest.
