The University of Nevada men's basketball team beat rival UNLV 76-72 Saturday night in front of a crowd of 10,317 at Lawlor Events Center.  With the win, Nevada claims the 3rd seed at next week's Mountain West Conference tournament in Las Vegas.  Wolf Pack senior point guard Deonte Burton poured in 24 points to lead the way for Nevada, while sophomore Cole Huff added 22 on a night that the Wolf Pack honored outgoing seniors Jerry Evans, Ali Fall and Burton.
Nevada overcame a 17 point second half deficit to take the win and sweep the season series from the Rebels.  Nevada will face the winner of Boise State and San Jose State on Thursday night at 8:30PM at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.  News 4 will be traveling with the team and will have reports from Las Vegas beginning Tuesday night.
