Nevada men's basketball inks a big recruit

Reno, NV ( -- After losing Deonte Burton, Jerry Evans Jr. and Cole Huff, the Nevada men's basketball team is focusing on bringing in the right guys to have a successful season next year.

The Pack has added a new member to its team on Tuesday.

According to his Twitter page, Tyron Criswell has signed to play at Nevada next season.  Criswell is a 6’4”, 215 lbs shooting guard.

Criswell was named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Player of the Year at Central Community College in Nebraska.

The Omaha-native led D-II schools in points scored, averaging 20.2 a game along with 7.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

Criswell was also looking at Nebraska and Auburn.
