Nevada women's basketball team defeated in semifinals

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Nevada women's basketball team bowed out of the Mountain West Conference tournament on Friday, falling the second-seeded Fresno State Bulldogs 82-71 in the semifinals.

Arielle Wideman led the third-seeded Wolf Pack with 17 points, and Emily Burns added 13.

Nevada's record dropped to 18-13, and they will await their postseason tournament fate. The Women's NCAA Tournament bracket is released on Sunday, and the WNIT pairings are announced shortly after.
