Reno Celebrity Charity Weekend Coming to Town

Strikes 4 Kids is hosting their 1st Annual Reno Celebrity Charity Weekend in partnership with
Make-A-Wish Northern Nevada on February 23-24, 2013. Strikes 4 Kids is a
non-profit organization that partners professional athletes with benefiting
organizations in the community. While based in Sacramento, CA., Strikes 4 Kids
travels across the nation coordinating charity golf and bowling tournaments for
athletes from all 32 NFL teams. Strikes 4 Kids organization's mission is to
give an opportunity for not only sports fans, but local businesses and those
with ties to specific organizations. A sure to be fun night out with friends
and co-workers while benefiting a great cause.

Dontay Moch, former Wolf Pack standout now current linebacker for the Cincinnati
Bengals, will host the event and will be joined by other former University of Nevada
athletes and NFL athlete teammates. Those scheduled to participate in the
weekend festivities include Virgil Green (Denver Broncos), James Michael-Johnson (Cleveland Browns), Ezra Butler
(New Orleans Saints), Armon Binns (Cincinnati Bengals), Brandon Marshall
(Jacksonville Jaguars), Robert Sands (Cincinnati Bengals), Kevin Basped
(Virginia Destroyers), John Griffin (New York Jets) and Ryan Christenson (Los
Angeles Dodgers).

On February 23rd an individual and 4-team bowling tournament will take place at
the National Bowling Stadium in Downtown Reno. The event will go from
3:00pm-7:00pm. Registration for the tournament will be $35 per person which
will include a minimum of 2 games, goody bag, shirts, fashion sports bands,
shoes and food. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st-3rd place teams with raffle
prizes going on throughout the evening.

On February 24th a 144 player Shotgun Scramble golf tournament will take place
at the Wolf Run Golf Club. The golf tournament will go from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Registration for the event will be $100 per person which will include 18 holes
of golf, golf carts, breakfast, lunch, practice course and awards ceremony.
