RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – Many Hug High football players are still feeling sick today because someone broke into the football locker room during Thursday’s game and stole the players' valuables.

It was a big game for the Hawks too. After going all season without a win, this was their last change for victory. The team pulled it out against their biggest rival to take home the Valley Cup - only to later find they were victims of crime. It wasn't just monetary items stolen, but sentimental things too - like a chain necklace which had been handed down in one of the player's families.

“That really meant a lot to him and if you were there you would of seen the sadness in his eyes,” player Edgar Tamayo said.

Because it's a Friday and a state holiday, we haven't been able to get a hold of school police or Reno police yet. But if you know anything that could help solve this case, please contact Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
