RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- The Nevada football team’s home opener against Southern Utah will kickoff at 12 p.m. on August 30.

According to a press release, as of now, this is the only home game that features a daytime kickoff. Four of the Wolf Pack’s six home games are subject to night games, because of conference television agreements.

Nevada and Southern Utah played the first-ever night game at Mackay Stadium 11 years ago. On August 30, 2003, the Thunderbirds visited and Nevada pulled out a 24-23 victory in the only meeting between the teams.
