One of the many ways you can give your pool a unique appearance is to install a water feature such as a fountain. Fountains can function as attractive centerpieces, adding to the aesthetic appeal of your pool and surrounding areas. There are a variety of different types of fountains, which use different nozzles to create distinctive water disbursement patterns and sounds. Fountains can dispense single or multiple streams of water, and can provide a multitude of natural sounds such as a soothing trickle of water, a gentle rainfall, or a cascading waterfall. Most fountains are designed to work with both in-ground and above-ground pools, and many are engineered to adapt to your pool's existing equipment. The most common decorative pool fountains float on the water's service, and connect directly to your pool's return line. Additional features such as special lighting, landscaping, and stone work, can generally be adapted to accentuate your fountain. For more information, contact a pool designer in your area.
