When is Paws on the Plaza?
Paws on the Plaza takes place Saturday, June 14, 2014, in Sparks, Nevada. The parade runs from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the entire event will end by 4 p.m.

Where is Paws on the Plaza?
Paws on the Plaza will be held at Sparks Plaza and Victorian Ave. in Sparks, Nevada.

What is the cost for admission? Is there a parking fee?
The cost to attend the event is free. The cost to participate in the parade is $10 per dog prior to June 1, 2014 and $15 per dogfrom June 1, 2014 until the day of the event. Donations are appreciated and will be collected at the event.

Will you accept dog and cat food donations?
Yes, we will accept dog and cat food donations during the event. The unused and sealed food can be left at the SPCA booth or the adoption van.

Are there dog contests I can sign up for?
There will be costume contests for the parade dogs and dog contests in the Dog Fun Zone Area.

What happens if it rains?
Paws on the Plaza will go on, rain or shine. No refunds for the parade registration fee will be given, as it is a donation to the charities.

Are there prizes at the door for being 1st in line?
No, there are no door prizes as there are many entrances into the event.

Can I adopt a dog or cat while I am there?
Dog and cat adoptions will be available during the event. Regular adoption screenings are required for any animal adoption.

Will there be water on-site for my dog?
Yes, the water fountain play area will be running and we will have dog water bowls throughout the event.

What type of food and beverage will be available for purchase?
Food truck vendors will be available that day.

What types of animals are allowed at Paws on the Plaza?
Only dogs are allowed in the parade. We ask that if you want to bring another animal to the event you understand the amount of dogs that will be at the park.

Do I need to bring my own dog poop bag?
You are encouraged to bring your own dog poop bag, and there will be extras around the event that can be used for free.

Is there handicap parking?
Yes, there will be handicap parking. The following map shows areas available with handicap parking and access.
