Reno, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) Two people are displaced after a fire broke out in an upstairs bedroom at their home on Newcastle Way in Reno.
Reno Fire Department Battalion Chief Rik Kajans says the fire broke out just before 2 A.M. Monday December 17, 2012.
He says the two adults living there were able to get out safely and their dog was later rescued from a hiding spot under the bed.
Kajans says they are working with the Red Cross to find a temporary home for the residents and the dog.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire.
