RENO, Nev. (AP) — Six high-risk offenders in the Reno-Sparks area have been arrested for violating conditions of their supervision.

The Nevada Division of Parole and Probation says the arrests last week were part of Operation Safer Streets, a concerted effort by various law enforcement agencies to check up on high-risk offenders who require intense supervision or electronic monitoring.

Authorities say during the Nov. 13 operation, another 25 offenders were contacted and found to be in compliance with their supervision conditions.

Great for Reno PD. I filed a complaint in Douglas county about my sister being a felon with guns. Shooting at a local gun club, working at a local gun club, doing fund raisers for the gun club and not telling them she is a felon convicted of embezzlement as ordered by the judge. I guess some felons get special treatment in small towns or Douglas County Sheriff just don not care about about felons committing felonies.
