Reno, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)—Reno police are searching for possible suspects after a REMSA unit was reportedly struck by a round from a BB gun while transporting a patient on Hubbard Way Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
According to police, a little before 2:00 a.m. medics say they heard a “pop,” before the back window of the ambulance shattered. Medics evacuated the area with the patient. Police say no one was injured in the incident.
Officers say they were unable to locate any suspects in the area.
The Reno Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact Secret Witness at 322-4900. Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to arrest and prosecution.
