From the Ask Joe file a follow up tonight for two of our viewers who originally wrote in asking about an eyesore next door to her house in Dayton.
Judy and Lyle Zabalocky first wrote in back in October asking how they could get Lyon County to remove a burned out meth lab trailer from the yard next door on Stratton Drive?

Judy and Lyle sent in a picture showing the burned trailer they were forced to stare at after it exploded one night.   It was definitely an eyesore.
But good news:  The wreckage is now gone.  Judy and Lyle wrote back this week to report crews had come in and moved the trailer out one piece at a time. And they are very relieved.
At the time I was told by Lyon County Manager Jeff Page that residents need to fill out a complaint form with the county's code enforcement department.  Page says they received the complaint on November 5th, and the county contacted the property owner and asked them to clean it up, which they did.  So this story has a positive outcome, and the county responded once Judy and Lyle knew where to turn for help.  Good news and they can enjoy the view out their back yard once again.

Might be worth some money from a scrap yard.

Guess it takes the news to be involved. We've had a burned out trailer next to us for about 5 years now. Lyon still hasn't done anything.
