you also need to contact Woodside Village Apartments on Kietzke lane as I asked why they did not put sand or ice melt in the driveways so we could get to our cars without busting our legs and was told they did not have any. Wouldn't you think this would be on hand for the winter as there are a lot of us seniors in here that HAVE to go out and when we have to SKATE to get to our cars it is NOT very safe. Please help us as we all are frightened. It is starting to melt but still ices over at night and is like a pond!!

You people don't get it. It's impossible to fight mother nature and this is the way it is. The job done is outstanding considering the conditions. When the temperature is this cold, salt and other stuff like sand can't always work. Physically cleaning packed down ice is extremely difficult and is something that would cost so much that no one could afford to clean every area. You have dripping, melting snow and ice all day then refreezing overnight. 1- Some people throw all their snow back all over the place when cleaning their property and vehicles. I have seen people take a big SUV full of snow and clean it in the street, instead of their driveway. 2-LE has more important things to do than watch sidewalks for ice and snow. You have no clue and only someone who is not out with the people during a shift that LE do to protect you 24-7 would say such a mindless statement. 3- If the ice and snow cause that much of a problem then stay in or get grips for your footwear.

'predicted', Nv4 hasn't a clue what "predicated" means or how it would be used in a story. I agree, this was just a shill for another greedy Reno property"manager". Where are the sidewalk cops?

This is so wrong of an answer! These days of recent winter weather were well predicated, including the cold temps. The apt. complex should not have been so lazy as to not protect their tenants with the help of a few hired temp workers! Your response of tough luck, buckle up and get over it is inexcusable...
